We are thrilled to announce Julia Cabral as the newest addition to the Fort Collins Foxes family, joining us as the recruiting coordinator. Julia brings with her a wealth of experience and a passion for sports that is truly inspiring.
Julia's journey in sports began at a young age, starting with baseball at six and transitioning to softball at eight. Her talent and dedication were evident early on, and she quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a four-year varsity player at Pacifica High School in Southern California. She also joined the prestigious club team Batbusters, coached by Mark Campbell, further honing her skills.
By her junior year of high school, Julia had already committed to play Division 1 softball at Colorado State University as their pitcher. Throughout her college career, she continued to excel, earning recognition as second-team all-conference during her sophomore year.
Off the field, Julia remains dedicated to her academic and professional growth. She completed her bachelor's degree in communications in May 2023 and is set to graduate in May 2024 with a master's degree in Communications and Media Management. Julia is actively involved in professional development, currently serving as a recruiting coordinator while interning with the Director of University Relations at Canvas Credit Union and with the Communications and Brand Enhancement team within Colorado State University's athletic department.
In her spare time, Julia enjoys hiking, spending time at the beach/lake, and hanging out with friends. Her commitment to both her athletic and professional endeavors showcases her determination and multifaceted skill set, making her a valuable addition to the Fort Collins Foxes team.
Please join us in welcoming Julia to the Fort Collins Foxes family. We are excited to see all that she will accomplish in her new role as recruiting coordinator!
